By choosing slabs from adjacent sections in the earth, you guarantee consistent colors and shading, minimizing the risk of discoloration or mismatched seams. Coordinate with your supplier and fabricator to ensure your slabs originate from the same lot!*

At Stone Dimensions, we recently had the privilege of collaborating on an awe-inspiring project overlooking Lake Mendota in Madison, designed by KEE Architecture. One of the standout features of the kitchen was the exquisite Carrara marble countertops sourced from Ann Sacks, boasting two captivating waterfall edges that added a touch of elegance to the space.
Custom-Cladded Hood
One of the unique features of this project was the custom-cladded hood fan, crafted from the same Carrara marble slab used for the countertops. Ensuring the safety of both workers and customers is paramount, especially when handling heavy slabs weighing hundreds of pounds. To secure the large slab of marble on the hood fan, we utilized aluminum channels from our sister company, Ceramic Tool, ensuring a seamless and secure installation.
The result was a kitchen that exuded sophistication and charm, with the natural beauty of marble complementing the picturesque lake views. The waterfall edges added a touch of drama and visual interest, while the custom-cladded hood fan tied the entire design together seamlessly.
